In Tiruppavai pasurams 1 and 2, Andal calls out to other girls to wake up. What is the inner meaning?

In the Sri Vaishnava interpretation, the "girls" are jivas who have forgotten their natural relationship with Bhagavan. Andal's call is the call of the acharya — wake up, the Lord is waiting. The vrata form externalizes the inner discipline (anushthana). It is the same in essence as the gopis of Vraja.
