I am new to sadhana. Should I start in brahma muhurta directly or build up gradually?

Brahma muhurta (4–6 AM) is most auspicious as the Gita 6.10 indicates dhyana yoga. But begin with what is sustainable for your body — even 11 minutes daily at 6 AM is more valuable than 90 minutes that you cannot maintain. Start small. The mind will tell you when it is ready for more.
I would add: avoid the period right after meals, and find a fixed seat (asana) and a fixed direction (east or north). The same place becomes charged with the mantra over weeks.
